April Program: "Herbal Living" by Penny Krier, owner of Renaissance Herbs in Port Washington Penny will focus on growing herbs in your garden or in pots and utilizing most culinary herbs in the kitchen, such as a BBT (bacon, basil leaves for letttuce, tomato sandwich). She'll also discuss how herbs will enhance your life to become more healthy and prepare a simple herbal tea to sample. Questions more than welcome. Community Focus: "Columbia St. Mary's Hospital & Family Sharing" Bring knitted baby caps, animal creatures for the hospital and breakfast cereals for Family Sharing.

May Program: "The Golden Age of Broadway" by Carolyn Wehner, Pianist & Vocalist She will sing, narrate and play from the piano the great songs from the golden age of Broadway. She has a BA in vocal performance from UW Madison and is a frequent concert and cabaret performer in Milwaukee and Chicago. You may recall hearing her at the downtown Boulevard Inn before it closed in 2003, at Karl Ratzsch's or at Italian Community Center's Courtyard Concert Series. She is a true professional and very entertaining. |
